Guji Day Glow
Peach, bergamot, cocoa nib.
Small-batch coffee by day. Hi-fi vinyl sessions after dark. Come for a cup, stay for side B.
Day Glow is our easygoing Ethiopian natural: fruit-forward, syrupy and bright without tasting like somebody dropped a scented candle into your mug.
Best for: filter, AeroPress, cold brew, and people who insist they “don’t like fruity coffee” until they try this one.
We buy coffees we can talk about without hiding behind tasting-note poetry. Each release starts with place, producer and process — then we roast to keep the good stuff intact.
Current rotation: four lots, four different personalities. No house blend pretending to be everybody’s best friend.
Peach, bergamot, cocoa nib.
Red apple, panela, almond.
Blackcurrant, grapefruit, brown sugar.
Hazelnut, milk chocolate, dried cherry.
Lights lower. Laptops close. The turntable gets louder — not club loud, listen-to-that-bassline loud. Our evening sessions are built around full albums, guest selectors and no-pressure hanging out.
A three-hour drift through jazz, hard bop and the records that made a rainy night feel useful.
Free / RSVP ↗Bring a record. Pick a side. Tell us why it matters. We handle the coffee.
$5 seat ↗Soul, Brazilian grooves, broken beat and whatever Nia found in the dollar bin that afternoon.
$10 / RSVP ↗One record, front to back, followed by a room full of opinions nobody asked us to suppress.
Free / RSVP ↗Afterglow started with two obsessions that reward attention: coffee and records. Both get worse when rushed, overprocessed or treated like background noise.
So we made a place with no drive-thru, no 48-item menu and no urge to get you back out the door in eleven minutes.
